I have found it extremely difficult to write this because I truly fear no words could ever do justice to the role John plays in my life and the impact he has had on it. I have come to the conclusion that it would be completely unfair to call John anything as simple as a Coach, Consultant or Mentor. What has become more and more clear over time is that John is an extension of me. John knows what I want before I even know I want it, John knows what I need before I even think to ask for it, and most importantly John pushes me in ways I once dreamt of pushing myself, and ultimately now do. When I first reached out to John, I was in a very transitional period of my life. As anyone who is new to life coaching, I was skeptical at first as to how much life coaching would benefit me. I think the reason why John is an effective coach is because he is an engaged listener. John isn’t just looking to give out canned suggestions on how to be a better man.
